OUR STORY
​In 2020 we retired from our high stress careers in hospitality -a 3 room B&B, a Lodge/Nightly rental, and a salon/dayspa, in a very busy tourist town.

We had planned on retiring early, traveling the world and then eventually settling down. The traveling was put on hold. However, We had talked often over the years about having a little farm with chickens, a big garden, berries and fruit trees, maybe some other livestock like goats, pigs or cows.

We found some land that we fell in love with instantly, and began to realize our dreams. 
​We had Rhode Island Red Hens for Large Brown Eggs.
​We planted a huge garden, berries, Grapes, and a bunch of different fruit trees  But the Arizona Climate was pretty tough to grow anything in. So after a couple of years of basically fighting the elements, we decided to make a change (for other reasons too)
We moved to MONTANA.
We found an even bigger property that had a pretty good setup for dogs already, that we are working on modifying to our preferences. The puppies absolutely love their new play yard (one acre fenced in just for them.)
The views are spectacular and just as HEAVENLY, if not more, then our Arizona farm. 

​Join along as we figure out what this land will end up being as our time here progress. We haven't figured that out completely yet. Will we have chickens again?, How about a couple of cows? What kind of garden will we plant? What will grow here? What wildlife is going to be competing for our garden harvest? These things and more we will figure out along the way.
But we do know that this climate is better for us,
AND the puppies. They can play outside all day long.

It's been a very busy couple of months at the new place.
​Lots of projects happening. Plus, I am recovering from major surgery.
